On March 31, 2022, the Ministry of Economic Development sent the funding decree for the MISENO project (“Multipurpose Ital-GovSatCom application Services for Emerging user Needs and Objectives” which focuses on the integration of Ital-GovSatCom services (geostationary satellite) and Earth Observation for the management of emergencies.
This project was included in the Multiregional Research Plan for the competence of the Campania Region which was approved and financed with Regional and FSC funds.
The lead company MAPSAT will carry out the project together with the partners EURO.SOFT s.r.l., TECNO IN S.p.A., ETT S.p.A., MEDINOK S.p.A., and the qualified consultancy of the DAC (Aerospace District of Campania), of ALI (Aerospace Laboratory for Innovative components) and of SAM (Mediterranean Aerospace Society), for an amount of approximately 9 million euros.
